Power of Yes

“No” has become a catch cry of the last decade. Look at books with titles: “Say No”, “Set your Boundaries”, “Don’t Let People Walk All Over You”, “Saying No is an Art” and so on.

Negative and toxic people say no. It’s far easier to say no than accept responsibility for your feelings and work to change what resistance is inside of you.

Critical and judgemental people don’t take ownership of their actions or their feelings. These type of people like to say NO or don’t divulge the truth about their feelings and actions. They say no to life, no to chances, no to fun, no to opportunities. When people say “no”, it means they are draining their energy because no means stopping the flow of energy and it stops the exchange of energy that occurs with yourself and other people. It means the person  saying “No” has tapped into the feeling of lack within themselves: the feeling that there isn’t enough time, money, goodness etc.

What have you been resisting?

What barriers have you created?

How can you harness the power of “Yes”?

With love, kindness and compassion,

Issam Kadamani
